Introducing H2 fuel into existing gas networks to reduce the carbon footprint of using gas for heat is a strategy already being undertaken across Europe. The H2 First Fuels facility has a complete Carbon Capture & Storage system for CO2, or it can use all of the CO2 from its hydrogen production to generate pure methane if needed. In so doing, a H2 first Fuels facility has the capability to provide both H2 and natural gas at the same time in large scale with zero emissions, reducing and even removing the need to use SMR as a source of hydrogen.

These solutions apply well as a transition before moving into full hydrogen production, if needed

Our facilities operate at pressures above 35MPa, avoiding expensive compression costs
